2001 BMW F650st Strada in East Molesey, Surrey for sale

Hi Welcome to my listing.... I have been left this by a close family friend with the intention of tidying it up and riding it, with my full test booked for the end of July, however due to me not realising and not looking into it enough i have to be 24 years of age and had 2 years experience on the A1 license before i can take the A license and ride over a 500cc. with that being a long time away it seems a complete shame to let this bike sit around any longer and be loved by someone once again! 650cc 49BHP 14 years old 40,574 miles on the clock 40,000 of which by the first owner 574 of which by as mentioned family friend. All the reviews i have read on this bike sing its praises and could suggest why the strada model is so hard to find for sale anywhere as nobody wants to part with their beloved bike! very reliable and very little to go wrong! The Good Points starts very well not needing any choke or very little idles and stays running well everything is in good working condition lights etc rear BMW box included with keys all main bike key locks match to the single key heated hand grips with two levels goes through the gears very well and clutch feels perfect all levels stay level and don't drop no warning lights on even if left running for half an hour, keeps itself cool etc brand new Bridgestone rear tire also front tire is in very good condition (both hold air) all gauges work appropriately luggage pannier on both sides of the bike The Bad Points ideally needs a new windsheild, has had a parking permit on it for too long and the adhesive has attacked the plastic, can easily be sourced had an original immobiliser fitted however due to it playing up for my friend he had it bypassed, i have checked all wiring is still there if a new one were to be fitted, so easy to trace the wiring could do with a polish and tarting up here and there, just to tidy up the overall look dash is slightly cracked over the warning lights however doesn't impair their viewing or operation. no service history, i was told it was serviced 300miles ago but a service isnt hard on one of these. Overall its a very stunnig bike and its a shame i cant ride it on the road as in this weather it would be great to whizz off down the coast and enjoy the sunsets with the breeze going through my leathers! this bike doesnt come with an MOT, however contact me with your interest and if you so wish i can have it MOT'd and put a new battery on it for any potential buying providing contact has been made with myself prior, meaning that it can be ridden away! any questions are freely welcomed and i shall answer them to the best of my knowledge please contact Will on 5 cash on collection or instant bank transfer
